Yes, from time to time im "taught" extensive and irregular preps for adulthood. For example in school sometimes teach subjects that i know that i will not use in life. Or when my parent are lecturing and tell me that theyre tryin to ready me for the real world and the topic is something bizzare. Some of the "teachings" i do actually value if they are important and beneficial. The others, i respond with a  sarcastic or dull expression and ignore whom ever is speaking
